Privacy Policy

1.1 When you design a garden room and send it to us, your details are passed to the garden room company whose designer you used. That company is the controller of your information and will contact you about your quotation.

1.2 Room-Est (Braemar Sales Ltd t/a Room-Est) provides the design and quoting software on that company's behalf, and stores your details for them.

2.1 The enquiry form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, town and postcode.

2.2 We also store the design you built: the room size, base, style, finishes, doors and windows, internal walls, roof, canopy, decking and any optional extras you selected, together with drawings and images generated from that design.

2.3 We record when you gave consent and the exact wording of the consent statement you were shown, so there is a clear record of what you agreed to.

3.1 To prepare and provide your quotation, and to contact you by email, phone or text about it.

3.2 To keep a record of the design you submitted and the quote we gave you.

3.3 We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for anyone else's marketing.

4.1 We keep your enquiry, design and quote for as long as the garden room company needs them to deal with your quotation and any resulting order, and afterwards for as long as they are required to keep business records.

5.1 You can ask to see the details held about you, ask for them to be corrected, or ask for them to be deleted.

5.2 To do any of these, contact the garden room company whose designer you used and quote the reference shown when you submitted your design. They hold your information and can action your request; Room-Est will act on their instruction.

5.3 You can also ask us directly and we will pass your request to that company.

6.1 When you send a design, we place a first-party cookie and a matching entry in your browser's local storage for 30 days. They contain only reference numbers, no name, email or design details, and they are used so that a second design from the same device is added to your existing enquiry rather than starting a new one.

6.2 Your design is also kept in your own browser while you work, so you can come back to it. Submitting the form clears that working copy.

6.3 You can clear both at any time through your browser settings; the enquiry you have already sent is unaffected.
